Every fan who joins your world is a member by default. Add more free or paid tiers by navigating to Fan HQ > Subscriptions. Click the pencil icon next to the Default tier card to rename it.
⚪ Note: For legacy subscriber content and legacy subscriptions, see here.
For migrating legacy subscriber content to Posts, see here.
Set up paid tiers
Before adding paid tiers, connect Stripe for fan subscriptions. Navigate to Artist Settings > Payments and click Stripe Connect under the Fan Subscriptions tab.
Add a new tier
Click the + icon and configure the following:
Tier name
Tier tag - assigned automatically to all fans who join this tier
Billing period - monthly or annually
Recurring fee - leave empty for a free tier
Trial period - number of days the tier is free before billing starts
One-off fee - leave empty if no one-off fee applies
Tier description - outline the perks and what being part of this tier means for fans
When you are ready to make the tier joinable, set the status to Live and click Save.
⚪ Note: Fans can choose a membership tier when joining via your Fan HQ. Tier options are presented after a fan has verified their email address.
🟢 Top tip: To share exclusive content with fans in a specific tier, use Post gating. Set section-level or Post-level gating to a subscriber tier to deliver exclusive content to the right fans in their inbox and on the web. See Gate Content in a Post for more detail.
