🌐 Create a Landing Page (2.0)

Turn attention into known fans and invite them into your world with Landing Pages

Written by Harry Drake

🟡 Please Note: This article covers Landing Pages 2.0, launched 28 October 2026. For the previous version, see Landing Pages (Legacy).

Landing Pages turn attention into contactable fans. Use them to collect fan data, drive pre-saves, gather UGC, run polls, share exclusive content, and bring fans deeper into your world.

Landing Pages sit inside Engage > Landing Pages. Every Landing Page follows a customizable fan journey made up of steps - a join step, optional middle steps, and a thank you step.

🟢 Top tip: The best Landing Pages focus on one clear outcome. A pre-save campaign should push fans toward the release. A tour campaign should collect location intent. Too many competing actions can reduce conversion.

Navigate the Landing Page Dashboard

The Landing Pages dashboard is where you create and manage all your Landing Pages. Search and filter between 2.0, Legacy, and archived pages, or click Create New to start a fresh one.

🟡 Please note: Landing Pages built in the previous editor display a Legacy tag in your dashboard. These pages remain live and accessible to fans - no action is required unless you choose to rebuild them in the new editor.

Clicking into any existing Landing Page - draft, published, or archived - opens an overview with the Performance tab as the default view. Toggle between the Performance and Engagement tabs to analyze your stats, and use the time period filter to adjust your view. Click Refresh next to the time period filter to update your stats.

⚪ Note: Draft landing pages open directly in the editor. Published landing pages open on the overview tab.

The Landing Page status appears beneath the title, showing whether the page is a draft or published (actively accepting submissions), and whether a scheduled closing date is set.

From this view you can also:

  • Click Edit to make changes to the Landing Page.

  • Click Generate QR Code to select an existing QR code or create a new one tied to this Landing Page. If at least one QR code has been set, this button will read as QR Codes.

Set up a new Landing Page

  1. Navigate to Engage > Landing Pages.

  2. Click Create New.

  3. Configure the following - you can return to these later:

    • Landing Page title

    • Landing Page URL (must be unique)

    • Header and alignment

    • Description

    • Main image

Create your flow

Every Landing Page includes a Join step, Profile Builder step and a Thank you step by default. Additional steps can be added between them.

⚪ Note: As you build your flow, use the preview panel on the right to see what fans will experience at each step.

Configure your Join step

Choose what to ask fans when they join:

⚪ Note: Email address is always collected alongside any additional asks if any are selected.

  • Answer to a question - ask fans to choose an answer from a dropdown menu.

  • User generated content (UGC) - ask fans to share photos, videos, or files.

  • Where should we play? - ask fans where they want to see you next.

  • Email only - ask fans to provide their email address. Additional data points are collected later using a profile builder step.

Click the push button icon to set your button label - for example, “Sign up” or “Get started.” If left blank, Get started appears by default.

  • Click + Collect more to add UGC, WSWP or a Poll question to the Join step.

  • Click the three lines icon to add additional details to the Join step.

When the Join step is collapsed, icons representing your selected asks - for example, email, then UGC - are shown at a glance.

If you add an extra ask alongside email, click and drag using the dots on the left to reorder them.

To change your additional ask, click the arrows icon and select from the available options.

Configure your Fan Validation Step (optional)

Optionally choose a fan validation type:

  • Verify email - fan confirms sign-up via a magic link sent to their email. Fans who are already logged in skip this step.

  • Verify SMS - fan confirms their phone number via magic link. Requires email verification to be enabled. Requires SMS credit.

⚪ Note: Returning fans who are already logged in on their browser skip the email verification step automatically. Fans with verified phone numbers will skip the SMS verification step automatically.

🟡 Please note: SMS verification stops when your SMS credit reaches £0 / $0. Fans will not be able to proceed past the verification step until credit is topped up. See Add a Payment Method and Top Up SMS Credit for more detail.

🟢 Top tip: To reduce bot signups and low-quality submissions, enable Verify email and Verify SMS in your Join step settings. These add an extra layer of fan validation and help ensure the data you collect is accurate and actionable.

Configure your Thank you step

Set what fans see and where you direct them at the end of the flow.

⚪ Note: The description field on the Thank you step supports rich text formatting options.

Configure:

  • Heading - for example, "You're in!"

  • Description - for example, "Here's what to expect..."

  • Additional blocks (optional)

  • Share options (optional) - give fans ways to share the page

  • Add link to Fan HQ (optional)

For more information on Block types, see here.

🟢 Top Tip: Add a links block to your Thank you step to host important campaign links at the end of your Landing Page flow - presale and general on-sale ticket links, album pre-orders, link to a Post, merch drops, and more.

Design your Landing Page

Landing Pages use Brand Kits, the same as Fan HQ and Posts. Select an existing Brand Kit from the dropdown or design a new one and save it for future use.

See Configure a Brand Kit for more detail.

Design Mode

Click the flashing cursor icon in the top right of the preview panel to enter Design mode. From here you can select and fine-tune individual elements of your Landing Page design directly from the preview.

Closing your Landing Page

Use the Closing tab to configure when your page stops accepting submissions.

  • Close submissions - manually close the page by toggling on Close submissions and clicking Save and Publish.

  • Automate page closing

    • Scheduled time - schedule a date and time for submissions to close automatically.

    • Submission cap - automatically close the page when the submission cap is reached.

Configure what fans see and what happens once the page closes:

  • Collect emails - toggle on to allow fans to sign up after closing, without counting them as a complete submission for this campaign.

  • Closed heading - updated heading for the closed state.

  • Closed description - updated description for the closed state.

  • Tag for signup once closed - a different tag assigned to fans who sign up after the page closes.

  • Additional blocks - add blocks such as a Releases or Tour block to the closed state.

🟢 Top tip: Use the Collect emails toggle in the Closing tab to keep your Landing Page active after submissions close.

Fans who arrive after the deadline - from an older social post or shared link - can still sign up and join your world rather than hitting a dead end. This is particularly useful for giveaways or presale campaigns where the submission window has passed but the link is still in circulation.

Settings

  • Password protection - requires a password to view and sign up through the page.

  • Internal Landing Page name - for identifying this page within your dashboard.

  • Tag for signup - assigned to fans who submit their email through this page.

  • Tag for completing the flow - assigned to fans who complete all steps in the flow.

  • Tag for signup once closed - applied instead once the page is closed.

  • Google Tag Manager ID - the Integrations GTM container stays active on this page and across Fan HQ. Optionally add a campaign-specific container that runs on this Landing Page only. Leave blank to use the Integrations GTM container alone.

⚪ Note: Landing Page details and tag configuration are reviewed and confirmed on every publish - make sure these are set correctly before sharing your page publicly.

  • Consent - By default the legal note under a signup button says that submitting the form is giving consent. Switch a channel on and that same note becomes a checkbox fans have to tick before they can submit.

  • Add QR Code - choose an existing QR code or make a new one tied to this landing page.

  • Social share settings - add an image, title, and description that populate when the Landing Page link is shared on social media.

🟡 Please note: Social previews only display when your landing page is published and not password protected.

Save & Publish

Click Save then Publish when you are ready to share your Landing Page. Share it:

  • On your Fan HQ - so your campaign is front and center when fans visit.

  • In a Post - to get both new and existing fans engaging with your campaign.

  • On socials - to invite new fans to join your world.

Add Additional Steps

Profile builder

Collect personal details to learn more about your fans.

Configure the following:

  • Heading (optional)

  • Description (optional)

  • Data fields - choose what to ask for and whether each field is required to submit this step.

  • Skippable - choose whether fans can skip this step or must complete it.

Connect DSP

Ask fans to connect Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer so you can add music to their library.

Configure the following:

  • Heading (optional)

  • Description (optional)

  • DSPs to offer - Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer.

  • Skippable - choose whether fans can skip this step or must complete it.

🟢 Top tip: For DSPs not supported by the pre-save step, add a links block to your Thank you step with the relevant DSP links. Fans on unsupported platforms can still access the release / pre-save without disrupting the flow for everyone else.

⚪ Note: Analyze DSP connections per platform via your Connect DSP step from the Engagement tab of your Landing Page.

Collect UGC

Ask fans to share user generated content with you.

Configure the following:

  • Heading (optional) - tell fans what to upload.

  • File type:

    • Image - .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .webp, .bmp, .ico, .avif

    • Video - .mp4, .avi, .mov, .wmv, .flv, .webm, .mkv

    • Audio - .mp3, .wav, .ogg, .flac, .aac, .m4a

    • Text - a free-form text answer

    • Other - choose a combination of specific file extensions

  • Maximum file size.

  • Skippable - choose whether fans can skip this step or must complete it.

🟡 Please note: Fill in the disclaimer section to clearly outline how fans' uploaded content may be used. This is your responsibility as the artist and should be completed before publishing the landing page.

⚪ Note: Sort and download fan uploads submitted via your UGC step from the Engagement tab of your Landing Page.

Poll question

Add a poll to your Landing Page flow. Click to select an existing poll or create a new one. You may add one or more Polls to a singular Poll step.

See Make a Fan Poll for more information on polls.

⚪ Note: Analyze poll results via your poll steps from the Engagement tab of your Landing Page.

⚪ Note: Any steps marked as hidden, or steps with missing content such as a poll step with no poll selected, are flagged in the editor. If left unresolved, these steps will not be shown to fans.

Where should we play?

Ask fans where they want to see you next. Configure your heading - for example, "Where do you want to see us play?" This step uses a pre-built location dropdown for fans to select from.

🟢 Top tip: Collect fan location data in the Join step as well. When a fan completes the Where Should We Play? step, you gain greater insight into how far fans are willing to travel to see you live.

⚪ Note: Analyze WSWP results via your WSWP step from the Engagement tab of your Landing Page.

Generate a QR Code

Click Generate QR code beneath your Landing Page title and URL to connect a QR code to your Landing Page. Select an existing QR code by searching by tag, or create a new one.

Configure the following for a new QR code:

  • Background color - recommended #ffffff

  • Foreground color - recommended #000000

  • Center image

  • QR tag (optional) - assigned to fans who enter their email address and submit through the Landing Page connected to this QR code

⚪ Note: To check QR code stats, navigate to Engage > QR Codes, or click Generate QR code in the Landing Page builder, find your QR code in the list, and click QR code stats.

Embed on your Website

Any landing page can be embedded on your website. The join step starts on your site - fans finish the rest of the journey in a new tab.

⚪ Note: For a general signup form, we recommend using the embeddable join block on your Fan HQ instead. Use a landing page embed when you want fans to go through that page’s specific journey.

Configure your embed

Click ‘</> Embed code’ underneath your landing page URL from the overview page to configure your embed code.

  • Set your appearance - page background or transparent background.

  • Set your dimensions - default is 480px wide by 600px tall.

  • Use the preview on the right to see how your embed looks in light or dark mode, or against a specific hex code background color.

When you are happy with the configuration, copy your embed code and paste it into your site’s HTML.

⚪ Note: A URL must be set for your landing page before embed code can be generated. The page does not need to be published to share the embed code with your web team, but the embed will not display to visitors until the landing page is published.

The appearance and dimension settings are baked into the code, so there is nothing to save separately. For a different placement, adjust the settings and copy the code again. Any edits to the landing page itself go live on your site once you publish the page.

What happens when a fan submits the form

  1. The landing page opens in a new tab with the fan already signed in.

  2. They complete the rest of the landing page flow there. The form on your site directs them to that new tab.

Performance

Use the Performance tab to track how your Landing Page is performing. Metrics include:

  • Registered fans - new vs existing

  • Unique visitors and total visits

  • Conversion rate - registrations as a percentage of unique visitors

  • Registrations over time

  • Completions across each flow step

  • Visits after close

  • Referral URLs

  • Outbound link clicks

Engagement

Use the Engagement tab to analyze fan engagement per step in your Landing Page flow. The breakdowns shown depend on which step types are included in your flow.

Available engagement breakdowns include:

  • Fans on the map - geographic split of registered fans.

  • Where should we play - geographic breakdown of fan responses.

  • Poll results - breakdown of fan answers per poll step

  • DSP connections - breakdown of fan connections per DSP

  • UGC - photos, videos, and other content submitted by fans. Sort and download from here.

⚪ Note: Most results in the Engagement tab are clickable - selecting a result opens an audience of the fans who gave that response. For example, fans who answered “London” in a Where Should We Play? step, fans who selected a specific answer in a poll step and fans who connected a DSP (Apple, Spotify or Deezer).

What next?

Once your Landing Page is live and fans are signing up, here are some recommended next steps:

  • Build an audience - use your landing page tag or signup data to segment fans who completed the flow. See Build an Audience for more detail.

  • Send a Post - share exclusive content, a first listen, or a behind-the-scenes update with fans who joined. See Create and Publish a Post for more detail.

  • Set up an automation - trigger an email or SMS when a fan completes your landing page flow using the landing page completion tag. See Create Automated Email and SMS Messages for more detail.

  • Connect your DSP - ask fans to connect Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer so new music lands in their library automatically. See Collect Pre-saves for more detail.

  • Review your performance - check the Performance and Engagement tabs to see how your landing page is converting and where fans are dropping off.
